Macbook + HelloKitty
Hi Loves, So I know this is my Blackberry Theme Related stuff blog, but I am going to post Random things from time to time. 1. To keep the blog active. 2. It is my blog to put out there whatever I would like :)
So as I wait for my windows based laptop to get repaired (I was assured it should be about another week longer) I have been using my lovely macbook. When I am bored sitting here at home, I do one of two things. Shop online or paint my nails ♥
This little item arrived today along with many other things I had ordered off ebay. Fits my Macbook perfectly! Even with the hard case I have attached to protect it. I just love Hello Kitty & thought I would share

So I was thinking to myself I needed a bit of a change here. Fall is officially here & I really want to get back into theming. So I wanted to just come by and give a little update. I was working on that theme for the 9700 on 6.0 and then my windows based laptop is giving me serious issues. So... I am going to take that baby into the geek squad and see if they can give her a bit of tender loving care. If not, I will just buy another laptop. I wish I didn't have to, since I have this Macbook that I've only had for a few months. Theme studio isn't compatible with it though and it is such a pain to have to bring around two laptops. Thanks for all the patience & support.

So I was missing my Blackberry a bit, so I caved and came back. I assume after some time again I will return to the droid, but for now back on that BerryLovin :) So I am hoping to convert a theme I had for BB 9700 on 5.0 to 6.0 so I can use it. Tried to get it done today but I think I lost all my theme files (Lame I Know) So hopefully within 2 weeks I'll have a theme up and yes since it has been awhile I will make it free!

Thanks for all the emails and tweets to see how I have been... I truly appreciate all the love, and thankful even though I have been M.I.A. I still have love from y'all.

my 9700 is on 6.0
Hey dolls, just stopping in for a quick post. I upgraded the os on my 9700 to the official Tmobile 6.0 os. (Available for Tmobile customers on their website under support) I'm not sure if I like it too much, I bet I just have to get used to it. I think in the next week or so I will make a theme for 9700 on os 6.0 because I can't seem to find any themes for it that I like to my taste. Not that they are bad themes, I just like certain things to look and do certain ways that I choose. So for those of you on Tmobile who have been waiting for the official os 6.0 go ahead and download it. I have heard feedback that some are waiting until they upgrade their os due to lack of themes for it? But I bet if you went to other theme blogs or themes4bb.com or coolblackberrythemes.com I bet you could find one you would like after searching around. Okay Gotta run, Still not feeling so well. Hey Luvs, So I have been on twitter a lot more than usually lately Huh? I am just tweeting via Macbook on the Echofon APP which just makes it so easy, when I am replying to emails, and what not. I just wanna make sure I make one thing clear. Yes, I did receive from hubby for Valentine's Day a new Droid Samsung Vibrant. I've been getting some concerned emails, and tweets about it. It is a very nice phone, and y'all know I have been saying RIM has been slacking. I am keeping my 9700, and I will continue to theme. I am thinking I might go a few weeks in the droid and few weeks in the BB.
Main things I notice so far with the two (Keep in mind I've been in droid for like a day)
Battery Life:
My blackberry seems to last longer. I think with the apps I have been running on the droid might drain it. But after a few hours I find myself charging the droid again, and with my Blackberry I wouldn't charge it until late at night, and even then I would still have at least have a battery still
Facebook App:
With my blackberry push notifications come through instantly. With my droid, I had to set up email alerts to notify me of messages, wall posts, and comments. I really hope that they update the Droid Facebook app to have better push notifications, but for now the email alerts work fine.
It's a touch screen! I love how the phone just seems fun! I can add little widgets here and there. I am still learning on how to customize things but so far it has been a fun learning experience. The main thing I miss right now besides instant FB notifications on my BB is my BBM. I downloaded the Pingchat APP, but it's not the same as having my BBM girls.
So just to recap. Still going to use BB every now and then. Still will theme.

So some of you have been emailing me about what I said on twitter the other day, Yes I have been considering leaving the theming world. I haven't fully made up my mind on either a yes or no answer yet. I love my BB & I love theming. Esp since I do it to pass the time at home when I am not always feeling well due to some medical conditions. I also have been using my Macbook more as my primary computer. As of right now you can't theme on a Macbook. The theme studio program just isn't compatible with Mac yet. So as of right now I am still theming, just when I get on the other laptop to do so. I also want to say a shoutout to everyone who replied on twitter and emailed me all the lovely comments about my themes. It really gives me motivation to keep theming. Okay well I think I have awkwardly rambled enough now. Take Care everyone!

How many people are using os 6.0?
Just got the invite to beta test 6.0 for my 9700 on tmobile. Trying to decide if I'm going to upgrade or hold off. What are things you like or dislike? Hi Dolls, so this is my first 9670 theme. I am going to be doing a few every now and then for free. I have a friend testing the theme for me. I personally don't have a 9670. I think I might need some more testers. So if there are any other 9670 users please comment below. I have a dear friend who has the flip style BB 9670 and Im just wondering if there are any 9670 users because if not, I will just BBM her the ota links and not post here... I may be a themer myself but I do like to use other themes. Thinking from a user's point of view I would like to know where else I might get stuff to beautify and decorate my Blackberry. So I will post my first tonight, not in any special order. Probably just by who gets back to me soonest. So keep on the lookout. Some of them you probably know about because they do awesome work.

Hi dolls, so for those of you who follow me on twitter @ladyrubysthemes possibly know that this morning I was tweeting about doing a possible Contest of some sort... I think this is what I'm going to do.
I have 5 themes that are doing well as premium themes and since this is a new year, I just had my one year anniversary as a themer, and today I'm just in a good mood...
I will be doing 5 different posts at different times throughout the day, possibly within 15-30 mins of eachother for a chance to get that theme for free !!!

Getting caught up...
Hi dolls, hope ya'll had a great new Years! Just wanted to do a quick update, I'm still finishing up with the last few customs i've been working on, and a few personal requests for family. I also will be doing some 8500 & 9000 conversions, once I finish up with the other things.
Because I got a few emails, DM's and comments about the 1yr anniversary theme (deerylou topdock) I will be also selling it for the donation amount of $4.50.
Hope everyone has a great week, I know it has to be hard to party all weekend and most of you had extended vacations because of the holiday then back to work, Mondays always seem like they take forever. I haven't been feeling good last few days, hope I'm not catching yet another cold.
