Looking for Ringtones?

Hi Dolls, So I've noticed a trend in a few of my recent emails from ya'll and instead of answering to each one individually I'll do so here. Where I get my ringtones is a site named www.Myxer.com You can browse for wallpapers, videos, and ringtones here. It gives you the option to create an account and get the items sent to you via mms in most cases, but I never do so. For a ringtone once you find one you want, (without logging in) just select Download, it gives you the option to save right there, and also to (Open) preview. I like the preview because sometimes the name or title may look like what your getting as a ringtone, but once you preview its totally not what you had in mind, and you can choose to cancel and not download it anymore. Hope this little tidbit helped!

Just no luck lately with TMO

Hey dolls, so I thought I would check in, I received 2 days ago my replacement BB 9700. It was a dud. The V and ? aren't working on it. So yesterday I called again after troubleshooting, and they are sending me another replacement. Fingers crossed this next one works, or I might consider going to another carrier. I have been considering for a few weeks now about going to droid, or adding an additional line for it, but then realized that I do themeing for fun, and it's something that keeps me busy because I'm home a lot with my medical stuff currently, so it helps me pass the time. So I don't think im jumping ship from BB just yet, maybe just jumping carriers lol. Hope ya'll have a great rest of the week!

Facebook Places [Rumor]

Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) launched the updated Facebook for BlackBerry v1.9 social networking application via the Facebook v1.9 for BlackBeryBlackBerry Beta Zone consumer trial program, touting a host of new features including a Dedicated Inbox that synchronizes BlackBerry smartphone messages with the user's Facebook inbox. Version 1.9 also boasts Facebook Search, enabling users to look for individuals and pages, making it easier to locate and add friends and "like" pages--in addition, Universal Search will pull Facebook results on smartphones running the new BlackBerry 6 OS. Other improvements: Friends List and Page List enhancements allowing users to view contacts' profile photos and pages in list form, and a redesigned navigation bar featuring Search and Message icons. RIM adds that the forthcoming full release of Facebook for BlackBerry v1.9 will also include Facebook Places and additional UI updates.

Facebook is the most popular application across most operating systems, according to Nielsen Company data issued last month. Forty five percent of BlackBerry users have accessed the app within the last 30 days, compared to 50 percent of iOS users and 32 percent of Windows Mobile users. Facebook is the second most popular app among Android users (45 percent)--only Google Maps ranks higher, and just barely (46 percent).

My 9700 isn't feeling well

So within the last week or so I've had my berry go crazy on me, lost ALL my BBM contacts well maybe it kept 3. Data connection issues, including bbm's back and forth. Then the White screen of death! So after spending time with a TMO rep they have come down to my berry needs to be replaced (que in Wah wah wah noise)

I have about 5 themes that have been waiting to be tested and so on, but I won't be posting them just yet. Maybe give me time to convert more to 8500 or something. I just don't know, I absolutely just LOVE my blackberry but is it just me or is RIM straight slacking lately? I would LOVE a new blackberry to come out that just isn't like another but in a different color! So since data is being lame if you need to reach me you can try email or twitter.

Facebook for BlackBerry v1.9 now in Beta Zone

I’m excited to announce the availability of a new version of Facebook® for BlackBerry® smartphones through BlackBerry Beta Zone. (Make sure to sign up for a Beta Zone account to try out v1.9!) We continually strive to improve the ‘Facebook for BlackBerry’ experience – in v1.8 we focused on optimizing the speed and performance of the application; now in V.1.9 we are adding more Facebook features that BlackBerry smartphone fans have been asking for.

Here are a few examples of what’s new in Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones v1.9:



Dedicated Inbox

You’ve been asking for the ability to view just your Facebook messages, so we’ve now added options on how and where you can view your Facebook messages to help you more easily manage your Facebook communications. We now offer two different ways to view your Facebook messages:

1. The Facebook Messages view lets you see only your Facebook messages in one inbox.
2. If you prefer to have all of your messages in one place you can set up your Facebook messages to appear within your BlackBerry Messages inbox.

Also, as part of these new views, the app pre-fetches 30 of your existing Facebook messages in order to pre-populate your inbox with your existing messages when you first log in!

With v.1.9 the Facebook Messages inbox on your BlackBerry smartphone are now also synchronized with your inbox on the web, so deleted and opened items now stay in sync. Once you’ve logged in, Facebook for BlackBerry will continue to leverage our unique BlackBerry Push service to keep messages updated. The end goal is an integrated email interface that looks as much like your everyday Facebook inbox as possible!

Facebook Search

With Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones v1.9, you can use the new Facebook Search function to search Facebook for individual people and pages. From the results that your query brings back, depending on the privacy settings, you can view mutual friends, enlarge profile photos (so you know for sure that a person really is your old high-school friend!), and send a request to add them as a friend.

Another nifty feature in v1.9 for BlackBerry® 6 users is that Facebook Search is tied into the system’s integrated Universal Search, so if you search your BlackBerry smartphone for a query, Universal Search will also pull in results from Facebook!



Friends List, Page List, Updated Navigation Bar

In addition to the features listed above, we’ve also worked to make sure that the Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones app looks easy to use – and functions as smoothly as possible. To this end, we’ve optimized the Friends List to add profile photos of your friends and have made it possible to view pages in list form. We’ve also updated the navigation bar so you can view your profile, and add new icons for Facebook search and Message view.

Now that we’ve piqued your interest, go and sign up for the beta, but don’t wait too long as there are a limited number of spots available for the beta program. We’ll give you a bit of a teaser and confirm that the full release of Facebook for BlackBerry smartphone v1.9 will also include Facebook Places and additional UI updates. Are you running the current version of BBM?

Hi, last night I was going thru and decided to check on some off my applications, im using to see if there were any updates. I did update my yahoo messenger app & my Blackberry Messenger (BBM)

I seem to use my bbm on almost everyday for one thing or another, chatting with friends, sending pictures to family, screen shots of my themes to other themer friends and ect.

The current version of BBM is: 5.01.41 so if you aren't running that version I suggest updating.



(I don't really see any big changes at all, but my understanding is there were some bigs that were fixed.)

Requirements:
To use BlackBerry Messenger, you’ll need the following:

* A data service plan from your wireless service provider.
* A BlackBerry smartphone with 64MB of memory.
* 2.4MB of available smartphone memory.

So the last picture isn't the best, its a picture of a picture of a picture if that makes any sense. I just wanted you to see a little bit differently than the first image of the ThemeBuilder Program's Screenshot. You get the idea.

So it is HiddenToday. 8 user customizable icons on the homescreen. Main colors throughout are same as the 9700 version Pink, Purple, & Teal.

I've been working on this theme off and on for the last few days, as most of you already know I haven't been feeling well but got to finishing this up today. I tried to include most of the screenies of the theme to really show you in more detail the theme, as I know some people like to know what they are getting before they buy/donate for it.

Theme has many colors throughout hence "RainbowButterfly" but Main colors I guess I would say are Pink, Purple, & Teal. Theme is HiddenToday. Donation for this theme is $3.50 (Made for 9700 5.0 os but works for 8900 & 9600 as well running 5.0 os) I haven't decided yet if I will be converting this to 8500, I guess if I get enough requests for it I will.
