So my birthdays coming up, and im the kind of person who likes to plan everything in advance so since ima Libra thought I would come up with a Halloween Theme. Credits for Barb for the theme goodies, Steph for the Icons i've been using ALOT (lol) & to Blackberry Wallpapers for posting a halloween wall which inspired me to search for some wallies myself.

Im posting this now, because I like to use my themes leading to Holidays instead of downloading the theme like 2 days before the actual holiday.

Theme's colors are mainly Black, White, & Orange. For HiddenDock version to show icons 2-10 hit SPACE BAR to hide them hit ESC, both versions have hiddentoday & weatherslot icon remains on screen regardless if hidden or not. Theme is named HkHalloween1 due to the fact I have also 2-3 more Halloween Themes coming. :) Hope ya'll enjoy!

SocialScope App

So you've probably seen alot of buzz yesterday on twitter about an app called SocialScope. I've been asked a few times in emails whats that green and yellow flowered icon in your screenies, well folks its socialscope.


What is socialscope? Probably one of the most used, and favorite apps i've ever used on my blackberry! I can add up to 2 different twitter accounts, my facebook account, flickr account, and my foursquare account. I am currently not on the most recent version which my understanding was released within the last week or so, but by following @socialscope they are saying that the newest version should be released to current account holders within days and not weeks. Which is something im looking forward to. I've also uploaded 2 screenies of what my login screen & main screen looks like. Also below i'll include the link to where you can request an invite, but my understanding by their tweets yesterday if you don't already have an account with them, you can follow them and request an invite, via tweeting them. I've seen a few people in my timeline yesterday get one sent that way. Good-luck, regardless if there is a wait for the app. i think its worth it, you'll truly only feed any facebook or twitter addiction you might already have. :)

So I made this theme for myself. Went back to how I used to do a todayplus, where the calendar was on the home screen. What can I say, im very girly for the most part so the colors throughout are pink, purple, white, and grey. I wanna give a icon credit shoutout to Steph thanks sweets for sharing the icons. I needed a little break from all the mini icons, even though I do like it because it lets me put more icons on my home screen. :) Hope you enjoy. ♥

Need Extra Space?

Hi Dolls, so I just wanted to share this thing i've been using for a few months now. Need to upload and save pictures of the kiddo's, dogs? Have school work need to save but dont have a usb? I use this for uploading theme files, icons, wallies, ect ect.. You can upload to your own album, or to one that you are sharing with you friends. I had such great compliments on the first version and i've been using it like crazy on my BB lately, but needed something a bit different to change it up hence the second version. I wanna give credit to the banners and underlays to Barbie which I got the theme goodies items on her blog long ago, but still giving her my thanks! Foursquare App for Blackberry

So.... I caved in, I finally started using Foursquare. As most of us know, it is not only for blackberry's I have quite a few Iphone & Android users on my friends list, also playing around with it. Myself I think its pretty neat, I can see where my friends are or have been. I don't check in at every place I go to but when Im bored there are days I do. I noticed the other day when I went to a restaurant to go eat Pho, (sooo yummy!) after I had checked in, it had displayed to me other users (not on my friends list) who had also checked in at this same place, and letting me know who might just be here. I turn around and I noticed the people behind me had checked in, and also my waiter.

There will probably be a few of you reading this, who thought the same thing like I did, I don't want a bunch of random people I don't know to know where I am. There are options to share with twitter, facebook or just friends. Usually I am posting it to just friends, but occasionally twitter. I say just try it, if you don't like it, delete the app and delete your foursquare account. Simple as that. It has the ability to find your friends on twitter and facebook who are currently using the app, which I used. I use my socialscope account which has a part I can add my foursquare account, but sometimes on socialscope it can't detect where I am at always so I fall back to the app for Blackberry.

One thing that foursquare lets you do is earn points and unlock badges for discovering new places, doing new things and meeting new people. So that is why I am suggesting you TRY it out, don't have to, but I've had fun with it this last week I've been playing around with it.
